Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Decoration from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in appreciation of his participation in the military operations in Yemen, and an Appreciation Medal from the President of the State of Somalia in recognition of His Humanitarian efforts.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad is an avid equestrian, triathlete, and poet with a record of wins and victories in many championships and international competitions. These include Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii (2018), the Royal Windsor Endurance Horse Race (2015), and Bahrain National Team’s first place win in the Open European Endurance Championship for Teams in Italy (2009). His Highness was also awarded “Best Arab Rider” (2016) by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI).

H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al KhalifaDeputy Chairman
H.E. Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa was appointed Minister of Finance and National Economy in December 2018. Previously, as Director General of the Office of the First Deputy Prime Minister since its establishment in 2013, he closely oversaw the implementation of plans and strategies relating to the initiatives launched by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister.
H.E. also served as Secretary for the Coordinating Committee, led by HRH, along with membership of the Ministerial Committee for Financial Affairs & Rationalizing Expenditure, the Fiscal Reform Committee, and the Supreme Council for Education and Training.
H.E. was Managing Director of Global Markets for the MENA region at Deutsche Bank AG, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 2008 to 2012, and Principal of “Investcorp” Hedge Fund Specialist Group for Middle East Investors from 2005 to 2008. He worked at UBS Investment Bank, United Kingdom from 2000 to 2005, where he became Director of Equity Risk Management Products and a member of its UK Investment Committee.
H.E. holds a Bachelor of Science in Investments and Economics from Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts, U.S.A., 1999.
H.E. was honoured by His Majesty the King, who granted him the Bahrain Order (First Class) in 2016.
H.E. Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin DainaBoard Member & Managing Director
Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina is currently serves as the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and Chief Executive of the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE). In his capacity as CE of the SCE, he is mandated to cover a number of national environmental issues including air quality, climate change, environmental impact assessment, pollution control, waste management, land resources, and marine and coastal conservation. Dr. Bin Daina has led delegations relevant to the Montreal Protocol, The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and various regional and international environmental conferences and summits. A double honoree by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Dr. Bin Daina received his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London and earned his Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from York St. John University. He has also been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship by Texas A&M. His extensive academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the United Arab Emirates University, and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wales, Swansea. With a background in petroleum engineering from Bahrain National Oil Company, Dr. Bin Daina started his professional career as a Graduate Assistant in the faculty of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bahrain, eventually becoming an Assistant Professor and later Director of Accreditation of Quality Assurance.
Dr .Bin Daina has recently been appointed as the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs with the rank of Minister. He is also a member of the following national committees: Board Member of the Supreme Council of Health, Supreme Council for Civil Defence, National Renewable Energy Committee, National Committee for Data and Information, Bahrain Building Code Committee, Emergency and Hazardous Committee, and a member of the Board of Directors of Water Resources. He is also Vice-President of the United Nations General Assembly for the Environment.
H.E. Khalid Amro Al RumaihiBoard Member
H.E. Khalid Al Rumaihi is the Chief Executive Officer of Mumtalakat. Prior to joining Mumtalakat, he served five years as the Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) where he was responsible for channelling inward investments into the country. He continues to play an active role as a Board member of the EDB.
Before heading the EDB, Al Rumaihi spent over 10 years at Investcorp as a Managing Director where he was also a member of the Management Committee and Head of the Institutional Placement Team covering Investcorp’s clients in the Arabian Gulf. This was preceded by a 9 year term in J.P. Morgan as head of its private client group in the Gulf region.
He chairs the Boards of Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah) and the Bahrain Development Bank. In addition, he also serves on the Boards of other companies such as McLaren Group, the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding) and is a member of the Advisory Board of Harvard Business School Middle East and North Africa.
With a Masters degree in Public Policy specialising in Economic Development from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Al Rumaihi has also chaired the Board of the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) and has held Board positions at the National Bank of Bahrain, Gulf Air and Securities Investment Company.
H.E. Abdulla Jehad Al-ZainBoard Member
H.E. Abdulla Al Zain is the Director General of the office of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs. He is also a member of the Higher Committee for Financial Cooperation and Coordination.
Abdulla serves as the Group CEO of Infinity Capital, a private investment holding company based in the Kingdom of Bahrain with a diverse portfolio of companies across multiple sectors. Additionally, he is the President of Córdoba Football Club in Spain and a member of the Board of Directors of Paris Football Club in France.
With over 19 years of expertise in wealth management, Abdulla was a founding member of several private and HNWI-led investment firms.
Abdulla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Hult Business School in London, United Kingdom and is a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Faisal Mohamed AlMahroosBoard Member
Mr. Faisal AlMahroos has 40 years experience in the oil and gas industry. During this period, he has held several leading positions, including Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) and a number of senior positions in exploration & petroleum engineering, project development, and energy planning. In addition to the Bahrain Field, he has worked in the Gulf of Suez’s July field, Kuwait’s Burgan and Sabriyah fields, and USA Midway-Sunset & Kern-River steam operations. He contributed towards initiating the Bahrain Field’s first rejuvenation plan and other improved recovery projects.
Mr. AlMahroos is an active member in SPE and AAPG, and has acted as a Chairman of various technical events. He has served on various organizational committees, including IPTC, MEOS, ADIPEC, GEO, and chaired the SPE Middle East 2002 reserve committee. He has published several technical papers on oil & gas characterization, oil vaporization, and extending mature fields’ oil plateau.
Mr. AlMahroos holds a B.Sc. degree in Mining and Petroleum from Cairo University (1974) and a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Tulsa, USA (1979).
Lord Edmund John Phillip BrowneBoard Member
Lord Browne is a Senior Advisor at General Atlantic on climate and Net Zero strategy, providing strategic support and advice to the firm’s investment teams and portfolio companies. He served as Group Chief Executive of international energy company bp from 1995 to 2007, after having joined the company in 1966 as a university apprentice. He led the company through a period of significant growth and transformation, including BP’s merger with Amoco in 1998. His landmark speech at Stanford University in 1997 established BP as a global thought leader in its quest to address climate change. In 2007, Lord Browne joined Riverstone, where he was co-head of the world’s largest renewable energy private equity fund until 2015. He is currently Chairman of Wintershall Dea, Europe’s largest independent oil and gas company.
He is independent co-Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Council on Science and Technology, Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, Chairman of the Courtauld Institute of Art, and a past President of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Lord Browne was the UK Government’s Lead Non-Executive Board Member from 2010 to 2015. He was knighted in 1998 and made a life peer in 2001.
Lord Browne is a Fellow and Former President of The Royal Academy of Engineering, and Chairman of the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
Lord Browne is the author of five books.

Robert (Bob) Dudley is the retired Group Chief Executive and Director of BP, plc, a position he held from 2010 to 2020. Mr. Dudley had a career with BP and its predecessors spanning over 40 years, serving in a broad range of engineering, commercial, strategic, international, and executive roles. In 2018, he was named the Petroleum Executive of the Year by Energy Intelligence. Over his career, he gained experience in strategic planning, risk management, international operations, HSE, and operations matters.
Currently, Bob is chair of the international, industry-led Oil and Gas Climate Initiative, committed to accelerating the industry’s response to climate change. He serves as a director of Rosneft, LyondellBasell Industries NV, and Freeport-McMoRan, Inc. He chairs Accenture’s Global Energy Board, and is a member of the US Business Council and a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering in Britain.
Bob was born in 1955. He is a dual citizen of the US and the UK.
Bob earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University, an MIM from the Thunderbird School of International Management (now part of Arizona State) and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois.

Tony is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Energy Transition Partners, an Amsterdam listed SPAC focused on the energy transition. He is Founder and Executive Chairman of SierraCol Energy, Colombia’s largest independent oil company, a Managing Partner of St James’s Asset Management LLP, and Chairman of a number of private companies.
Tony was Chairman of Glencore from 2013-2021 and Group Chief Executive of BP from 2007 to 2010, He joined bp in 1982 as a rig geologist in the North Sea. He became Group Treasurer in 2000, Chief Executive for bp’s E&P Business and a member of the Main Board of bp in 2003. In 2011 Tony founded Vallares plc, a $2.2bn SPAC listed on the LSE. Following the merger of Vallares plc and Genel Energy he became Chief Executive in November 2011 and subsequently Chairman (2015-2017).
He was Senior Independent director of Corus from 2002-2007 and a member of the board of Tata Steel from 2007-2009. He was a member of the UK Business Council from 2008-2010 and the US Business Council between 2008 and 2013.
Tony chairs Aston University Development Board and is a member of the British Museum Chairman’s Advisory Board. Tony studied geology at Aston University in Birmingham and completed a PhD at Edinburgh University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, on the Advisory Board of Edinburgh University’s Ocean Leadership program and holds honorary doctorates from the University of Edinburgh, Aston University, the University of Birmingham and Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University.
He is based in London, Valencia and Colombia.
Hadyah Mohammed FathallaBoard Member
Hadyah Mohammed Fathalla is a strategy and security specialist with 20 years of experience in a range of fields including: national and global security, policymaking, entrepreneurship, innovation and digital transformation.
Prior to her appointment as Director of Strategic Projects at the Office of His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, she served as Chief Operating Officer for C5 Accelerate, a global technology investment firm. In addition to having established and managed the company’s MENA’s business, she built Bahrain’s first technology accelerator in 2016 and established a number of initiatives to contribute to the government’s Start-Up Bahrain efforts. She is also a regular contributor to cybersecurity, innovation, and technology conferences.
Hadyah has also played an advisory role to a number of government agencies and senior government officials on topics including counterterrorism, armed groups, security policy and strategy, cybersecurity, and other national security threats and challenges.
She is an Independent Director of the General Sports Authority, the Benefit Company (Bahrain), as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Youth Hostel Society. Additionally, she is a member of the Harvard W3D: Women in Defense, Diplomacy, and Development.
Hadyah holds an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, concentrating on International Global Affairs and an MA in War Studies from King’s College in London.
H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain Bin Ali MirzaAdvisor to the Board
With over 50 years of industry experience, Dr. Mirza was appointed as advisor to the Board of Directors of nogaholding in 2022. Previously, Dr. Mirza held several Ministerial positions, including, Minister of State in 2002, Chairman of the Tender Board in 2003, Minister of Cabinet Affairs in 2004, and subsequently Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs in 2005. He was appointed as Minister of Energy (in charge of Oil & Gas and Electricity and Water) in 2011. He was then appointed as Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs in 2012, and following that, as Minister of Energy in 2014. In 2016, Dr. Mirza was appointed as Minister of Electricity & Water Affairs, and reappointed as Minister of Electricity & Water in 2018. He was most recently appointed as President of Sustainable Energy Authority in 2019.
Dr Mirza is the recipient of The Bahrain Medal by His Majesty the King, and has authored three books and many research papers on Management.
