Five professionals, from nogaholding and its portfolio companies, have successfully passed an examination and gained an internationally recognized certification from Business Continuity Institute (BCI) – the World’s most eminent Business Continuity Management Institute recognized as representing best practice and professionalism.
The examination followed a four-day intensive course arranged by nogaholding and delivered by BCI in October 2012 at the Bapco Club. The course and examination covered the full business continuity management lifecycle from policy and programme management based on ‘Good Practice Guidelines (GPG)’ taken from international codes and standards; in particular of ISO22301 “Societal Security – Business Continuity Management System”.
Promoting concepts, skills and application of Business Continuity Management (BCM) is one of the key initiative that nogaholding embarked on as part of its Enterprise Risk Management programme.
Gaining the internationally recognized certification and being a BCI Corporate Partner is a significant achievement. nogaholding have now five Business Continuity Certified Practitioners who, with the support of BCI, will assist in developing, implementing, and promoting the art and science of Business Continuity Management across their companies and within the region too.
